Big Mic's Brisket Burger Beef Stroganoff

Big Mic's Brisket Ground Beef Stroganoff

Welcome to some more of Big Mike's recipes using nothing but fresh BBQ proteins.

We make our Brisket Burger with 100% Brisket that has been miraculously trimmed with zero silver skin or fat just lean meat. We then take the clean solid fat trim and calculate our grind to be a 80/20 ratio. This is then double ground in house to make a flavorful burger that is stand a lone. We also use our Brisket Grind in our Big Mic's BBQ Chili & Cowboy beans.

The recipe below can be made with many different proteins and be delicious as well from tri tip to sirloin smoked brisket and regular ground beef or chuck.

2 pounds of brisket burger 80/20 3 tbsp. unsalted butter

2 tsp of crushed garlic1 tsp onion powder1 tbsp. all purpose flour3/4 cup of heavy whip cream 1 cup of beef broth ( I used Schreiber premium beef base 2 tsp to 8oz of hot water)1/4 cup of sour cream1 tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce (you can use Worcestershire sauce)1/2 tsp Dijon or stone ground mustard1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper

12 oz. bag of egg noodles spirals save 3/4 cup of the noodle water before draining noodles.

Add garlic and onion powder heat and reduce the drippings from the meat, stirring after it boils 3 minutes add the tbsp. of all purpose flour and stir constantly for about 1 minute. add Kikkoman's stir in well then add the 3/4 cup of heavy whip cream then the beef broth 8 oz. take 4 tbsp. of hot mixture and stir together with sour cream so it will not separate in a different container then stir into mixture add mustard , salt and pepper and set aside while you prepare 12 oz. of noodle as per package. Before straining remove 3/4 cup of the noodle water and add into your sauce mixture. drain noodles put pot back on stove and place the brisket burger into it on med heat 3 minutes add the strained noodles and stir together warm up the sauce and pour over the noodles and brisket burger and combine and you finished...
